As the year gently winds down and the air grows a little quieter, I find myself reflecting on the journey that brought Good Smells Inc. to this moment, and more importantly, the people who walked it with me.
This year has been a tapestry of learning, growth, courage, and connection. Of long nights pouring candles by hand, blending fragrances inspired by books and stories, packing orders with care, setting up tents at markets, meeting new faces, and reuniting with familiar ones. It has been a year of listening, adjusting, trying again, and trusting the process. Learning not just how to build a small business, but how to build something meaningful.
To my family and friends, thank you for believing in me, even when the path felt uncertain. Thank you for the encouragement, the patience, the helping hands, and the quiet reassurance that reminded me I wasn’t doing this alone.
To my customers, near and far, thank you for choosing to support a handmade, small-batch, artisan fragrance company. Every candle lit, every room spray used, every gift given, and every kind message sent means more than you know. Supporting a woman-owned small business in Florida, especially one rooted in intention, storytelling, and craft, is never something I take lightly.

It’s about creating luxury handmade candles, dark academia-inspired fragrances, and thoughtful self-care products that feel personal and grounding in a world that often moves too fast. This year taught me how powerful scent can be, not just as home décor, but as a bridge to calm, courage, nostalgia, and joy.
This journey has taught me patience. It has taught me resilience. It has taught me that growth rarely looks linear and that learning is a gift, even when it’s uncomfortable. Most of all, it has taught me that Good Smells Inc. exists because of you.
